Garden Route Tour

Between Heidelberg and Storms River, the Garden Route runs parallel to a coastline featuring lakes, mountains, tall indigenous forests, amber -coloured rivers and golden beaches.

Meandering trails are followed by hikers, the forests invite long, leisurely drives, and the lakes and rivers lend themselves to swimming boating and fishing.

A wide range of leisure options, spectacular scenery and a mild climate guarantee an unforgettable holiday experience when visiting the Garden Route in South Africa.

	Day 1
	Depart Cape Town at about 08h30 and head northwards, climbing over the Du Toit's Kloof Mountain pass en route to Worcester. From Worcester we continue to the wine Estate for lunch.We will stop at the Alfresco Deli/Restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon we travel through the Little Karoo to arrive at the Riempies Estate Hotel for an overnight stop.

	Day 2
	After breakfast we visit the famous Cango Caves.From the Caves we travel to the Cango Wildlife Ranch (Crocodile and Cheetah farm) and get close to a cheetah if requested. A short drive to the other end of Oudtshoorn brings us to Ostrich country and lunch at the Highgate Ostrich farm. After lunch the tour of the farm begins. We head down to the fields, where you will have the opportunity to sit on and ride an ostrich.The late afternoon takes us over the Outeniqua Mountains to Knysna. As you drive over the summit of the pass, lush green vegetation awaits you. Our hotel tonight is the Knysna Quays Hotel in Knysna.

	Day 3
	Enjoy the village of Knysna and for some free time in the Knysna Waterfront. At 11h00 we depart on a guided boat trip on the Keurboomriver followed by a picnic lunch on the beaches of the Keurbooms River.In the late afternoon we will visit the Post Office Tree and Diaz museum, thereafter spend time by the swimming pool or a stroll along the beach, to overnight at the Mossel Bay Protea hotel.

	Day 4
	The next morning we visit Botlierskop Private Game reserve where we have breakfast before departing on a game drive.From the reserve we travel via rolling hills to Swellendam. Swellendam is full of romantic history where our lunch today is at a restaurant in Swellendam (La Belle Alliance). Return to Cape Town via a scenic stop at one of the local Farm stalls we arrive back in Cape Town, either terminating at the airport at 18h00 or at the various hotels a little later, after four fabulous days!
